Contributor's Information Page

The page provides links to pages and documents that will be of use to authors who may wish to submit their work to Theological Studies for consideration, and to those who have agreed to write book reviews and shorter notices for the journal. When your manuscript is prepared, please send it to our editorial offices here at Marquette University. If you are submitting an essay from overseas, you need not send the hard copies.

Contributor's Submission Information Sheet

In order to expedite the review of submissions, and for our internal tracking records, we ask that authors provide certain information to us as they submit their manuscripts for consideration in the journal. Click here to go to the page that contains the sheet, which you can then print from your web browser. Or you can get the sheet in the Adobe Acrobat Reader format (PDF) from the links to the right.

Theological Studies Style/formatting guidelines

We ask that authors adhere to our style guide when they send us submissions. To that end are providing two distinct guides for their reference: a style/formatting guidelines, and an abbreviations guide. Like the Author sheet just mentioned, the guides can be read through one's web browser, or through Adobe's Acrobat Reader (see the links to the right). Allied with the Style/formatting guidelines is a spelling and abbreviation style sheet that will be of interest (also downloadable via a link on the right).

Book Reviews and Shorter Notices information

Writers of book reviews and shorter notices receive a sheet of guidelines along with the book that they have agreed to review. We have placed downloadable versions of those documents in the "Quick TS Documents" sidebar, in the Adobe Acrobat format, for those may have misplaced their original.
